The Skellig Haze Electric blue stud earrings evoke an image of the mysterious Skellig Michael off the West Kerry coast. The Skellig islands are a sight to behold. Skellig Michael protrudes spectacularly from the Atlantic ocean and was home to a small monastery during early Christian times. The Rock has been made even more famous in recent times by the Star Wars film Episode VII “The Force Awakens”. Here the audience is reintroduced to the original hero Luke Skywalker. At certain times of the year weather dependant, the island can look magical and has inspired our Skellig Haze stud earrings. All our enamel jewelry is open fired here in our workshop in Multyfarnham which is nestled deep in the green Irish countryside. The open fired method of enameling is rare and helps us to produce very individual pieces. These will forever be individual to the wearer. This particular art form is very hot work and best suited to Irish winter weather. This is good for us as we can try to create some free time during the summer months to travel and be inspired. Ireland is very much the root of our inspiration and can be seen in the various collections which we have to offer.
