We use our own bespoke enamelling method which makes each piece unique! Enamel is the use of a very fine glass powder melted on to a base metal. We use enamel on a base metal of copper.  We sprinkle a very fine glass enamel powder on a copper base. We then place the copper pieces with the enamel powder on steel bars. We then introduce an ‘Open Fire’ gas pot to create a very intense heat, this melts the glass enamel on to the copper.  When the glass enamel is molten we use a steel scribe to create a unique design.  So even with a pair of earrings the design is unique but the colour combinations are the same.  Please refer to our craftsmanship here video for more details.

Yes it is, all of our jewellery pieces are handcrafted at our workshop in Multyfarnham , Co. Westmeath. All of our silk designs are also first created by the same enamelling process. We then photograph these designs and use in house graphic designers to create vibrant bespoke silk accessories. We don’t have a premises that is open to the public but check out more about our craftsmanship.

We use high quality surgical steel ear wires for most of our drop earrings collection, these wires are hypoallergenic and are suitable for sensitive ears. These wires are also strong and hard wearing. We also use surgical steel ear posts for the stud earrings collections, we have found over the years people with sensitive ears find our earrings are easy to wear and do not cause any reaction. We also have earrings with silver, gold and gold plated ear wires.  Each product listing clearly indicates which material the ear wire is made from. We would recommend the earrings with surgical steel as these are tried and tested by our customers for years!

Even though we use the base metal of copper to craft our earrings, they are lightweight and easy to wear. Each of the small drop earrings weigh less than 2.5gr and the large drop earrings weigh less than 5gr each. So although made from metal glass they are light weight & suitable for wearing all day.

This happens! We understand this situation. Our clients get very fond of their unique pair of earrings over time. As they are so unique it is quite difficult for us to create a ‘partner’ for an earring that was crafted in the past. But If you supply us with an image of the earring we will do our best to create a replacement pair!

Our silver plating has a very high quality finish and should last a long time. The best thing is to avoid putting the silver in contact with any chemicals, particularly perfume as this has a harmful effect on the silver plating. Maybe also avoid the washing up whilst wearing the rings! Store your silver plated jewellery separate from you other jewellery in its box or a separate material bag. This will also help prevent it from getting scratched.

We use only 100% Mulberry silk, the quality is 22 momme . This really means our silk will last the test of time.  Silk is an amazing natural material and we see silk as an investment in a material that can improve hair , skin and is a joy to use every day.

All of our silk designs are created by the same enamelling process that we use to create the jewellery. We then photograph these designs and use in house graphic designers to create vibrant bespoke silk accessories. We then print these unique designs on silk. We don’t have a premises that is open to the public but check out more about our craftsmanship.
