Loughcrew Brown Stud Earrings

With these Loughcrew Brown stud earrings we use Lime Green as our base which then allows the copper beneath to peer through. I think the pure metal that is copper is very apt for representing our megalithic past and in particular the beautiful Loughcrew cairns. The cairns which we based this design on are situated on the high hills just outside Oldcastle in Co Meath. They are a Favorite place of ours to visit at any time of the year. The views in every direction are just spectacular. We would highly recommend staying at Loughcrew camping if you come this way. The owners are very friendly and have created a special atmosphere. The location is also excellent for visiting many other beautiful sites and attractions in the surrounding counties. A nice compliment to the Loughcrew Brown stud earrings is the beautiful Irish Green silk scarf. All of our enamel jewelry is open fired here in our workshop in Multyfarnham which is nestled deep in the green Irish countryside. The open fired method of enameling is rare and helps us to produce very individual pieces. These will forever be individual to the wearer. This particular art form is very hot work and best suited to Irish winter weather. This is good for us as we can try to create some free time during the summer months to travel and be inspired. Ireland is very much the root of our inspiration and can be seen in the various collections which we have to offer.
