Strandhill Pistachio Green Stud Earrings

The combination of greens and ivory in these Strandhill Pistachio green stud earrings are reminiscent of the views of the mountain as you stand on the beach at Strandhill. The beach lies at the base of Knocknarea mountain in county Sligo. This place is special to us as it is the burial place of Queen Maeve – the warrior queen. She was the warrior queen of Connacht, the western province of Ireland. It is said that her father was king of Connacht before becoming High King of Ireland and she became ruler of Connacht after him. She had five recognized husbands, and ruled for over 60 years.
