Our enamel Derravaragh Bluebell Drop Earrings are on a copper fan design. The dominant colour in the base is a purple mix which we have developed over the years by mixing various colours of glass. Then we add some ivory, red and pinky mauve before firing to arrive at this striking combination. These lovely tear drop shaped earrings remind us of the month of May and our morning walks with the dogs through the native forests near Lough Derravaragh.
A nice addition to our Derravaragh Bluebell Drop Earrings are our Children of Lir drop earrings. Based on the famous Irish legend related to Lough Derravaragh.
All of our enamel jewelry is open fired here in our workshop in Multyfarnham which is nestled deep in the green Irish countryside. The open fired method of enameling is rare and helps us to produce very individual pieces. These will forever be individual to the wearer. This particular art form is very hot work and best suited to Irish winter weather. This is good for us as we can try to create some free time during the summer months to travel and be inspired. Ireland is very much the root of our inspiration and can be seen in the various collections which we have to offer. Thank you for taking the time to view our creations and we hope you enjoy wearing them as much as we do!
The Meab drop earrings are lightweight, easy to wear and the vibrant colours add an air of originality to any outfit.
Please Note: Each Meab Enamels design is open fired. This means that each design is unique but the colours will be similar to your chosen piece. Our earrings have the highest quality hypoallergenic wires available and are very safe and kind to sensitive ears.
